Movie: “Till the Clouds Roll By (1946)

Movies begin at 1 pm on alternating Wednesdays followed by a discussion in the Fellowship Hall. Please arrive early as no one is allowed to enter once the movie has begun.

A showcase for many musical stars of the day, this is a fictionalized biopic of Jerome Kern, one of our five greatest theatrical composers. Includes performances by Judy Garland, Kathryn Grayson, Tony Martin, Dinah Shore, Lena Horne, Angela Lansbury, Frank Sinatra, Robert Walker (as Kern) and Van Heflin. Kern’s greatest triumph was composing Show Boat.
