Membership Committee

The Membership Committee supports membership growth, engagement, and retention by welcoming visitors, assisting newcomers in becoming members, and helping members develop meaningful connections within UUFF. The Committee promotes a culture of hospitality and inclusion by greeting visitors, conducting newcomer orientations, facilitating introductions to members and church leadership, and connecting individuals with opportunities for service, fellowship, and learning about Unitarian Universalist values and congregational governance.

The Committee may also recommend and coordinate activities that recognize and celebrate member contributions, helping all members feel valued and engaged in the life of the Fellowship.

The Membership Committee maintains membership records, manages membership lists and directories in accordance with UUFF bylaws, and verifies compliance with attendance requirements when necessary to determine whether a quorum exists.

The Committee shall meet monthly or as needed. The Chair shall report committee activities and recommendations to the CLC monthly and coordinate with other committees and church leaders as appropriate.
