Congregational Leadership Council
The Congregational Leadership Council (CLC) provides dedicated leadership to govern the Fellowship and act on behalf of the congregation, serving as the primary guiding body for all activities. From overseeing our day-to-day functioning to serving as the official legal representative of the Fellowship, the CLC works to ensure our community runs smoothly. To do this effectively, the Council establishes policies and procedures, appoints and supports committees, and oversees Fellowship assets.
Our Connection to the Wider UUA
Within the CLC, a dedicated Liaison to the UUA ensures we stay closely connected to the broader Unitarian Universalist community. This role’s responsibilities include:
- Education & Action: Keeping our congregation informed about current UUA General Assembly resolutions, UU Statements of Conscience, and Study Action issues.
- Deepening our Commitment: Fostering a clear understanding of what it means to be a responsible, active member of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations.
- Community Outreach: Engaging in outreach with the UUA, the Florida District, and the Southern Region.
- Service & Giving: Managing our Fellowship’s participation in the UU Service Committee (UUSC) and the Chalice Lighters program.
- Sharing Opportunities: Providing information about the programs offered at The Mountain Retreat and Learning Center.
- Supporting our Committees: Bringing in the latest UUA resources – such as printed materials and small group consultations – to support vital teams like our Adult and Youth Religious Education committees.
Meet the 2026–2027 Congregational Leadership Council Members

Ron Parker
Chair
Ron has been part of the Unitarian Universalist (UU) community for approximately three years, with a very positive experience at UUFF. He says the UU members as welcoming and supportive. Over the past three and a half years, He has actively contributed through various volunteer activities, including painting the Coffee House interior and participating in garden cleanup efforts. He currently serves on the Endowment Committee. His educational background includes a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems Management. Professionally, he was as a software engineer, engineering manager, and is retired from the U.S. Air Force. Additionally, he served as his homeowners’ association president for five years. These roles have developed his teamwork and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration within the congregation. He tends to remain calm and assist in de-escalating tense situations when necessary. He hopes for UUFF include; hiring a new minister to promote healing and growth, as well as expanding outreach efforts to engage with the broader community, thereby strengthening the collective impact of the congregation.

Erich Dalton
Vice Chair
Erich is a founding member of UUFF in 1993. He was active in the Buildings and Grounds committee until 2018 when he had to step down due to Donna, his wife, having a stroke. He has an AS degree in Radiologic Technology from Northeastern University in Boston. He spent 30 years in the field in Rochester NY and Melbourne, FL before retiring in 2008. Erich has served as part of the CLC for the past few years and would like to be re-elected in hopes of continuing the progress we have achieved.

Corinne Williams
Secretary
Born and raised in Michigan, I’ve been a snowbird for 8 years with my husband of 26 years, Nelson. This has been my church home for several years, and I love it. I enjoy singing in the choir and getting to know my UUFF family. I’m a retired educator, now dog trainer and grandma. My two grandsons here in Melbourne and my little retriever keep me busy.

Jan Erickson
Policy & Planning
Jan has been a member of UUFF for three years. Jan moved to Florida as a toddler, eventually settling in Melbourne where she grew up and was introduced to UU for the first time. Jan left Melbourne to attend college in Tallahassee, earning her MS from FSU. From there, she moved to Washington, DC where she worked for Federal government in the fields of information science and systems development. In 1998, Jan moved back to Melbourne when her husband (now deceased) retired. For many years, she worked for the Brevard County Library System before retiring in 2023. Since then, Jan has devoted her time to volunteer work, notably serving as a Guardian ad Litem and mentoring youth in various capacities. Her other interests include art history, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.

She holds a BA in History, an MA in Communication, and a Psy.D., and has worked as a public school teacher, university administrator, and psychologist. Sara is committed to collaborative leadership, thoughtful communication, and fostering inclusive, respectful relationships. She hopes to support UUFF in strengthening shared goals, enhancing communication, and moving forward with clarity and unity as a minister-led congregation.

Nancy Amo
I began attending UUFF services a few years ago and became a member in early 2025. Since then, I’ve been an active participant in the life of the fellowship—regularly attending Sunday services while I’m in Florida, singing in the choir, joining the Women’s group, and serving as an advisor to the Transition Task Force. I’ve also been working with Emily on financial initiatives, including helping to establish an online giving platform.
Professionally, I bring nearly three decades of experience in the nonprofit sector. I hold an MBA and, prior to retiring in 2019, served as Chief Operating Officer for the New York Division of The Nature Conservancy. Since then, I’ve continued my work as a consultant to a range of nonprofit organizations and recently accepted the role of Executive Director for a private 501(c)(3) foundation.
I’m deeply committed to UUFF’s future. I hope to see the fellowship continue to thrive as a place for spiritual reflection and connection, while also growing in membership, diversity, and community engagement. I believe we have a strong foundation to build on, and with thoughtful structures, strong relationships, and sustainable systems, we can support a vibrant and flourishing community.
